I have got the chance to buy a double set of C64 / 1541 drives. I bought this because i was searching specifically for the Mitsumi turn lever model.
In this package a C64 sporting a weird internal expansion board nr. 1184, made by CHB in 1984, was in the stack. I went fiddling around, soldering some connections and hooking it up and found three different ROM are added to the regular C64 kernal:
– DISK SPEEDLOADER | CRACKED BY FME | 84
– DISK TURBO – DALMAN PRODUCTS | 512KB RAM
– VIDITEL
Strangely enough on one of the eproms is written “VIDITEL $8000” makes me think that it is not a generic kernal switcher.
Interesting. Are you willing to dump the rom and upload it?

Viditel is the netherlands version of Minitel. This is probably warez to interact with that online service.
I know what Viditel is… but i was more aiming my question on the hardware itself 😉
got one too 🙂 But didn’t work well Still have it Same green color and lot of wires.
Als the red wire for the kernel switch
